Art of Thoughts

Our clients will tell you that "the art of thought" has added great value to their organizations today and into their future.

The art of thought (AOT) is a simple process that provides enlightening insights into, current product life cycles, service offerings, new products and or services, new markets for current products and new products. The art of thought leads to the review of other areas of business like developing leaders and leadership positions; developing and motivating teams; mentoring new employees; improved or redesigned sales and marketing approaches; individualized employee development programs; career pathing; and seeing manufacturing and logistics in a new way. This incredible process, when applied, has a lasting effect in every segment of our clients' business and their personal lives.

The "art of thought" is a phrase first coined by our founder Mark Allen Roberts when challenged to describe how we consistently help client partners grow. After some deliberation on something he does so naturally here is what he said: "I see thoughts as artwork in and of themselves. I see them as unique pieces of a magnificent tapestry coming together timely to share and thus create value in all they touch. Can you imagine the Mona Lisa or Michael Angelo's David being draped in a cloth of "but this is the way we have always done things around here?" I believe innovative, out-of-the-box ideas, all start with a "what if" question as an answer to an unmet need. It may not be the optimum solution at its conception, but as our team uses our proven process we will shape it into "art!"

When Michael Angelo was asked to explain how he took the raw block of marble and shaped it into the famous statue of David, he replied with an AOT response--"I just helped the marble become what it was meant to be." As others saw the task as work using his mallet and chisel to reshape the marble, he saw the task with freedom of thought.

We work with companies and people and help them grow into the unique gift they truly are. Our team removes the clutter and allows business owners and their teams to execute their core competencies while we manage the business.

Our approach starts with a review of the raw materials we have to work with in terms of products, people, systems, processes, strengths, weaknesses and so on. Our research and assessment based approach quickly identifies the "what is," or what some refer to as perceived givens. We complete a thorough assessment of the market(s) they serve, technology, trends and tools available and those needed. We do a deep dive with customers and targeted new customers to insure we shape our solutions to have the maximum impact.

We provide objective challenges to the paradigms as only someone not in the company (in the box) can do. We grow the best practices, create thought art, and add new tools from the same or other industries that compliment what they have. Through our process we challenge the paradigms that are assumed to be fixed with our "what if" statements.

Far too often companies cover their true gifts in the cloak of running their business. Our team uncovers these gifts, helps shape them for the market(s) you serve, and presents your company and products in an intentional and strategic way. Our process touches products, markets, service, operations, training, and the essence of leadership itself.

The art of thought has been described by one client as "a brilliantly simple concept that, when executed, provides explosive sustainable growth." She goes on to state, "They have a knack for free thought and their support team enabled me to work on my business instead of working just in my business"

Deana Cocks, CEO North American processing.

Another executive said "they take a complex task and through this process create a plan. When our team executed the international development plan, as it was presented, international sales had an incremental gain of $20 million in nine months."

Gerhard Schmidt, CFO Nexpak
